you have to be prepared to work with partially abstract ideas, which you have not seen before. This means you need to know the core fundamentals of each topic to fully understand the course. This coupled with the fact that there are many extra topics just featured in extension one.

Usually, if you have any genuine interest in maths, you should do extension 1. And if you do well in extension 1, you should attempt extension 2.

its just a more advanced version of 2u basically..
so if your doing good in 2u i dont think you should have a problem in 3u

Not that much harder, some people can argue that q9 and 10 of 2U > q6 and 7 of 3U
