For me... I just have to pay for food and other stuff. Accommodation is free but about $70-$80 for my friends for just over a week.

I drink because it tastes good, not because i want to get smashed. I really, really don't see the point of getting drunk to the point that you start vomiting/lose your judgement/will forget what you did next morning/pass out XD

I got a house in Byron Bay on the beach for $4500. Its expensive, but because we have a group of 10, its only $360 each (providing we get our bond back). So I suggest getting a big house and a big group to have a great place to stay and not to expensive.
