Mathematics, carrotsticks. I know, astounding price but I follow her because my sister did. However, I don't think it's a waste of money because she taught me to enjoy doing maths. I find myself having a reason to do maths homework now :D Also, she's taught for about 15 years now so I find she has experience.
I don't think you can even assign a price for someone who has the capability to inspire you academically. It really is a priceless gift.

$35 is reasonable for the following reasons:
1) She is putting time behind the scenes for your learning preparing materials etc
2) She has a plan for your learning and seems organised
3) Because she is teaching at home, she has access to all her resources. This is one of the reasons that I do not tutor at other people's homes is because I can not bring additional resources with me.
