Caffeine pills used to work great for me but remember it tends to keep you wired long after the class.

If the class is really that boring and you feel you've got the material covered, I would recommed skipping it and doing something more productive. But remember to go for the tutorials since the practice will definately be worth the efort.

Play the penis game. Did this with a friend of mine and had a good laugh.

Basically those involved have to say "Penis" louder than the last person say it. Last one wins but you are red in the face with 200+ eyes staring at you while your mates laugh at you histerically. (I may be an '07 but we did this during one of the 0 week lectures on "Beyond google and wikipedia" at melb uni. man was i embarassed.)
