so anybody out there with some good tips on doing well in this subject?

Just understand the main concepts / models - Keynesian model, AD-AS model, exchange rate model, etc

keep up with everything!
make lots of notes on the main models
all the tute questions
questions from textbook
iirc theres MC in the final exam? try to get practice questions and do them

Collaborate with friends, share notes and make sure you attend all lectures!

Read the text book and make it into words that you can understand easily and try past papers!!!
