How to go about completing Psychology units in a Bachelor of Arts at USyd? (1 Viewer)

I think its very possible I may not get the ~97 required for a Bachelor of Psychology at USyd. Would I be able to complete Psych units as part of an Arts degree?

Depends if you intend on doing a masters in psychology (e.g. clinical org forensics). If you do you need to get invited into honours before hand from either a B.Psych, B.Psych Sci, B Adv Sci (Psych) or B Sci (Psych) iirc, dont think you can do it through arts not sure - someone confirm. Seriously, B. Psych doesn't really give you a advantage over the other courses cause everyone needs a D+ (in psych cores) to get invited its just the prestige attached to its name (from my experience)

I think it would be it better to get into a plain bachelor of science and major in psych. But as said above, don't be too gutted if you don't get into B Psych because people in that degree don't get any advantage they still need to get distinctions like you to get into honours.

Just choose Psychology units in your arts degree first year, then apply for internal transfer
