Hi guys,

I was wondering if anyone can give me advice or past experiences with preparing for english essay exams?

Generally its more effective to break down the points into dot points, dont know why, but it always seems to work better than just straight paragprahs for me.

If you want fully memorised, generally the best way is just to transcribe paragrpah after paragraph over and over, reading them multiple times aswell.

For me, breaking down paragraphs into sentences and writing them out whilst saying it 4-5 times usually does it for me, at the end of every few sentences i go through all of them again to make sure i remember it. This does take a while but it really helps me remember it.

Remember the key point and quote for each paragraph, and just get very good at reconstructing it in an exam. Doesn't need to be word for word.
