My classmates and I groan and complain in unison whenever English appears on our timetable.
In short; my teacher's a bore, (as dull as a doorknob), the subject seems irrelevant and marking appears random, I feel like there are better ways to spend my time than to be lectured about some obscure author's context or the importance of hyperbole in a short story, before cramming useless information into my mind only days before an exam.
I really liked English in year 10, but I feel like all the interest has been drained out of me. It is affecting me because I'm so unmotivated towards and unwilling to work in English
In short: how can I learn to love English?
