Remember, this year is prelim, we make mistakes.. the most important thing is to LEARN from EVERYTHING. Put in as much as you can, to get out heaps to help you WIN next year. Keep Smiling :)

For me, my day was good!!
French marks back - 12/12 reading, 9.5/10 writing (pissed off that i lost marks for writing TOO MUCH!!) 28.5/30 listening (pissed off that i made stupid mistakes) rank: equal second.

Biology: 20/20, 19.5/20, 19/20

S.O.R: 28/30 (pissed off abotu multiple choice!!!)

But!! have vowed to analyse EVERY exam to learn the most from my mistakes!

this arvo i have soo much to do:

- finish bio summaries
- french notes
- bio q's
- bio study for exam
- french tutor hmwk

:) :) :) so glad to be back at schooool!
Thanks. Nice marks you got there :p

Yeah lol. And belive me, i stand by that statement. The freedom to do whatever i want is going to be great, the fact that i can wake up late and still rock up to uni is going to be just BEAUTIFUL, and the fact that they don't care too much about me is great also. Why? Because not being noticed is better than being noticed, and basically holding the hands of other, "capable" students and giving them the marks while taking them away from people like me, despite the fact that they're more than capable too, but to said teachers "believes" that they're not.

Thats enough of a rant for me, but yeah.

Anyone here hates their school (not school generally, i actually enjoy it :) ) the way that i do?
they give you marks when you show that you know stuff. you don't get marks for being a capable student. you get marks for saying the right things. for applying your knowledge correctly. stop whingeing.

yeah my day was alrite yesterday!

I received my legal studies assignment back,
with 7/10 which is good, im ranked 4th out of 20 people, well really its probably second because the ranks went from 1st - mark of 10 down to 4th - mark of 7!
I'm happy with that, seems the rest of the class didn't do that well!

yesterday was boring.
I was the only person in the class who did the eco holiday homework =/
got a maths result back, 85%, 3rd in the year.
got told by my english teacher that my creative writing piece was pretty shocking.

Congrats, that's heaps awesome! And to everyone else too who recently got any of their results back :).

Had our IPT "half-yearly" (we don't have them for all subjects, the teacher just called it that for the sake of it :p) exam today. Was pretty okay. There were stuff in there that I didn't think we'd be tested on so not quite sure on how I went.

Just some revision in Maths for the 3U test coming up, and more rush to get my 2D BOW for Art finished by next monday. Definitely feeling the pressure :mad1:.

Today was alright.

English Extension was a bludge, didn't really do any work.
Advanced we talked about our upcoming excursion and wrote about Bruce Dawe, which as pretty boring.
Modern was cool, we've started Decolonisation of Indochina and we got out tests back (1st with 34/35, :D). We just did a bit of research on Laos, Cambodia and Vietnam.
Physics was ok, did some experiments with oscilloscopes, nothing exciting, and maths was good because for once, we have no homework!

All in all a pretty good day.

I am in a loop where I barely know what day it is. This is so awesome. Exams finished on Thursday and I've been out pretty much ever since.

Still have 3 days left till I even have to go back to school, and when I do it's a chemistry excursion!

I do need to do some serious work on my SDD project though.

Not exactly "scaled up" but your rank is what matters, not mark. So if the highest is 16/20 and you got 14/20 it's likely you will be 2nd or 3rd so that's an excellent rank which, yes, will stand you in good stead!!

:)

I got the top mark in my English extension test. But it was still 19/25.
She said it was because I didn't write enough. Since when do you loose 6 marks for not writing enough?

Haha, thanks. Not sure if I'll be this happy come Thursday when I get results back, but we'll see.
