I plan to just ditch the IPT exam because I'm sure it's not going to count, but am I allowed to walk out? I've heard something about non-serious-attempts and how they can take away your HSC?

If you fail to make a serious attempt (eg. only do multiple choice or write completely irrelevant information / answers) your HSC may not be awarded. Don't risk it!
