i wrote that in like 20seconds..

One of my biggest problems with English is the amount of detail I right in my essays. Who else gets this: when you discuss your response in plenty of detail, you get told you're rambling too much, however when you write in less detail, you get told it's not enough. This has got to be one of my biggest frustrations in English, how are we meant to know what's enough or isn't enough?

I'll put it this way, generally, when people say something to you twice, you're bound to remember it.

Telling them 5 times just gets annoying right?

Thanks for the words of advice everyone, I listen to everything my English teacher tells me and adapt it to my successive pieces of writing, except I'm just not getting anywhere. I have never gotten over 13/15. Hopefully things will improve eventually.

I could. But I won't. Theres no need to write poetry in english unless you want to; and even then you can only do it as an Extension 2 major work.

As for essays; I was once told that the art of English lies in "bullshitting confidently". But, alas, there is a line you need to walk; between writing big long pointlessly vague but pertaining to the point in an effort to make your essay seem longer and more sophisticated and good and stuff; and writing alot:- but making your points clear and concise.

And work to your time limit.

she loves poetry and made her own anthology..
but its also compulsary during year 10..

they do..and i have about a 70& chance that the school will let me but i have to miss out on about 30mins of period 3 so yeah..im just going to refer back to when the principal was talking about how we dont participate enough
