P being lousy.... I know that a P to many people, including myself, is one of the greatest things of university life... there's nothing more relieving than a 51% P

Anything above that is a bonus.

Actually, it was a 58% P - I'm starting to come to the conclusion a D isn't all that hard to achieve. Both those essay I completed with 2 days of the due date - just luck I guess . . . .

if you haven't then you have no idea

if you try to 'enjoy' it, you will find yourself in a hole and in 15weeks time you will find CP CP CP CP

Socially, I'm doing pretty well.

Academically, my screwing around of the first few weeks have drastically reduced my chances of trying to attain a distinction average for the first semester. Mainly the advanced maths subjects pissing me off.

There's a difference between enjoying it and being an irresponsible student who doesn't do their work due to socialising.

Being at the unibar, watching the band on the duckpond lawn, going to the unimovies, playing tuesday trivia on a tuesday while having a few drinks and lunch, and then going out on the weekend is part of the reason why I do go to uni, because why shouldn't people enjoy it.... Although if I've got assignments due the next week which I haven't started and need to get a move on with, that's where the responsibility of having a quiet weekend comes in.

It's all about management and responsibility. If you can achieve a balance, you can have a relatively big social life while achieving that Credit+ average.

Well if it was easy, then everyone would be doing it. :D

I'm starting to notice a pattern in my marks, Autumn semester is usually crap marks but then I come home strong in Spring semester... I think it's got something to do with the 'oh crap I need good marks' attitude I bring into Spring and then when Autumn starts i'm complacent due to my Spring results.... yet I'm still not smart enough to change this pattern.

it really comes down to what degree you are doing and the difficulty

my current degree, i lost my social life!

if i was doing some arts degree...or some easy degree...like just computer science, i would have so much spare time....

But that wouldn't count for exams right? I mean, wouldn't you need to get higher than a P for an exam??? If not well I can't wait till next yr!! That's if I get through this yr!!

Anyway, I'm stressed now . . . . . with exams coming up - my first is 14th, then 16, 18th & 23rd. I guess it's sort of how I felt doing my first VCE exam - never taken an exam before - well I've never done a uni exam now/yet.

Uni is really good. I have some how managed to keep a social life, as well as get pretty good marks.

The first few weeks, i wasn't settled at all, and was pissed off about only getting a p+, however, as the semester is coming to a close, i have got some HD and some C which i am very happy about :D
