I think I'm going to be doing:
Flor De Luna by Santana
Devil Running by John Butler Trio
Red House by Jimi Hendrix

And trying to decide on another piece or two, as I don't know if I want to do Red House. I'm considering doing:
My sacrifice by Creed
88 by Sum 41
Something by the Red Hot Chili Peppers...thinking Good Time Boys, although my guitar teacher doesn't think it'll be good >.<

Oh and this is all on guitar

Killing In The Name - Rage Against the Machine. (have to change the "fuck's" repeated throughout it)

Money - Pink Floyd. (i'm using my wah pedal in the solo and verse to give it my own feel. Probably using a flanger too.)

Both on guitar.

Well so far I have nothing yet either... (and I'm crapping myself because I have to decide in like 2 weeks)..

BUT I'm harmonising for a friend to an acoustic guitar version of Rhianna's Umbrella, and another friend (who is a pianist) asked if I could sing Right Here Waiting by Richard Marx while she plays...

Yeah... I should really start finalising my performances...

that's sounds sick as, go the brooke fraser. beautiful song, careful with those high notes.

i'm doing
Piano: Maple Leaf Rag - Scott Joplin (Popular Music)
Prelude & Fugue In C Major - Bach (Instrument & It's Repertoire)
Heart Asks Pleasure First - Michael Nyman (Core)
Piano and Vocal: Like You - Evanescence (Music of the 20th & 21st C)

Does anyone know if you're allowed backing tracks, I have a live band for like you but there's a strange beat thing at the start, and i wanna know if i'll be able to play that throughout the first couple of sections before the band comes in, let me know if you know anything please.

you could do an arrangement of a song by the butterfly effect for the australian piece. show some contrast cause it's heavy rock.

I play flute, oboe and sax (flute for hsc) and I do music 2
I'm doing...
Bali Moods No. 1 - Anne Boyd (Australian)
Syrinx - Debussy (Additional Topic 1900-1945)

but!

I don't know what else to do in the 1900 - 1945 topic! Any ideas? It could be a sax or a flute piece! I don't mind!

Nice choice :) tis quite a pretty song, a girl in my class was going to play that last year, only that sadly she contracted a mysterious imaginary disease that prohibited her from sitting the hsc.
