Are they knowledgeable? Like, if I asked them how and what kind of contextual details I need to include in my Yeats/Mob B essay would they be able to answer?

Usually it depends on the teacher you get, you'll get an operator that asks your student number, etc and your question and then they transfer you to a teacher who has the most knowledge on your specific question or has taughed that or knows of that module.

i just dno if i can do it without laughing

as to if they are knowledgable? it depends on who's on the end of the line

i know my english teacher used to do advice line (not this yr cos shes on holidays) and shes crap, like will just get you more confused. so if u get a crap tecaher then hang up and call again!

Why would you want to do it? By wasting their time, you are wasting not only theirs but others who may be waiting in line. This is really serious and you shouldn't really consider doing that. And yeah, they are knowledgable. I sorta heard that they are markers or people who are in charge or something.

I reckon I will call them up to see to get some useful tips for maths.
