HSC ENGLISH TUTORING
ESL english, Standard English and Advanced
I graduated from PLC sydney (Private college, ranked 29th in NSW) 2008

A summary on why i do English Tutoring

  • I was not the top English student from year 1 to Year 12
  • i hated English ( "im good at math and i think ill stick with it" )
  • I was kinda .... way below average in English in my junior years
  • i didn't know how to ace English
  • But soon...........
  • the stress of year 11 + the competition within the year group = i forced myself to study and actually study for English (incl. reading prescribed texts, writing essays etc etc......
  • one day....something amazing happened, i found butterflies flying above my English books... kidding, seriously it was only by the middle of Year 12 that i really discovered the right way to study for English, and how easy and interesting English really is.
  • and i received a final HSC English result of 94
  • i know everyone, yes its not even that good, and of cos i am still not the best English student or tutor out there, but i did go through some things that maybe the smartest English kid did not.....
  • now English is one of my favourites, its fascinating, intriguing and overall its a five star subject that is so easy if you learn it the right way
  • i really want to help all of you out there with English,
  • I am here to specially teach the new HSC syllabus, i know HOW the HSC works, and i have lots of personalized notes on this year's new syllabus and i know how you will be able to achieve your best results in limited amount of time.
  • ENGLISH IS ONE TRUE OBSESSION

Below are some of the English topics that i have went through, i have lots of materials on thenew year's syllabus, and also written essays that have received full marks
(NOTE: BELOW are NOT the full syllabus, they're only ones that i have taught/that i have studied/ have notes of. IF YOUR topic is NOT listed, please email me and ask if i would be able to teach your topic)

I'm just interested in your HSC year.
How were your marks throughout year 12?
I mean was it only halfway through that you went well? and got that mark? Which is very good, well done :)
I'm having a bit of trouble in english and am feeling a bit discouraged

sorry to make you feel that way,

well, seriously, i only started to really study hard at the begin of year 12 (thats when i made my bos account "studymyassoff" ) and it was then- for every single english lesson, i would go home and re-wrote my notes up (waste of time.... really, dont bother writing notes for english, instead just practice essays)
and with my first english assessment i really didnt do very well at all... a mark of 15/20 or something, which i put a hell lot of effort into. From then on, i started to get tutoring and it was only around mid-year that i actually started to approach .and study English "the correct way. "
for my final HSC english exam i received 97, and a school mark of 90 which finalised to 94 =]

Im the oldest child in the family, and first to experience year 12, if i had the opportunity to do the hsc again, i think i would ace it. "hsc is about the experience and studying the right way" haha trust me

English is the easiest subject, you really have to learn it the right way =]

btw, im currently on holidays and will be back around beginning of september, if anyone need tutoring, contact me then =]

I was wondering if you had any essays on 'The Simple Gift"
Essays aren't one of my best areas...

I'd love to have English Advanced / English Extension tutoring.
Only problem is transport and distance.

STRATHFIELD?!?
That's too far from me. Unless I catch a train there.

Possible customer here ;]

Don't feel discouraged. Learn and study and you will meet your potential and be fine.
