Ah k.

Mmm. everytime I use that trip planner it gives the dumbest routes, I prefer just doing it manually through umpteen sites with cityrail/ buses/ mules/ horses... like I used it just to see how it would describe getting to the city from my place, and the ways it chose were nothing like how I actually get there! And took about 30 min/ an hour longer...

Three cheers for public transport, in any case.

Two weeks to go today! And happy Pakistani Independence Day.

Je suis d'accord avec toi. I retract that proposal. My results suggested that I embark on my journey at 3:07am to arrive at 4:37 am by bus. (In time for 9am session)

ROFMAO! Though given that start time, with any luck you'd actually get there by 8am.

Should go alright I reckon, I got 16/20 for my Trials Speaking (3 people inc me doing French at our school :) therefor fast marking). I was quite happy with that and I bet I can improve till the actual speaking HSC exam

Yeah i need to improve a lot... since i got 13/20 in the half yearly's and i only spoke for 3 mins in the trials (she didn't tell us we had to keep the questions going... our old teacher would just keep asking questions till the 10 mins was up.) Unfortunately, however, my trials don't finish until thursday, after which i have to do 4 unit english majorwork (i've only half finished) in time for wednesday. from wednesday to friday i have to cram french... i think i'm screwed!

good luck for your hsc speaking!
the earlier you get in there.. the earlier you get out
when you go in you have to sign your name that you are there, leave your mobile phone in a box (u get a raffle ticket thing so they know which one is yours) and you get your student number and order on a card.. then just wait until its your turn
i had my croatian hsc speaking on saturday.. just be lucky yours doesnt have to go for 15 mins hehe

Me too! That's what I'll be doing all this week.... as well as completing my Visual Arts BOW.

I really dislike English Extension 2, if I didn't procrastinate as much as I do, I'd be finished. :( Are you writing short stories too?

Yeah.. i've been procrasting heaps!!! I'm doing a critical analysis. I can't exactly just make up some crap the night before (though i'm going to have to try!) So french is really the least of my worries right now.. and i still have my ext english exam tomorrow, extension maths on wednesday and chem on thursday, the latter two of which i have a 30% average in... with study!!! without i'd be getting like 5%. I studied 3 weeks for my chem half yearly and got 30%!!! See.. i seriously am screwed. Oh, and i only have 11 units...

yes unfortunately it's selective. Baulko. I hate going there some times cos i feel like i'm so stupid, i mean i get 30% averages and NO one gets that. I'm sposed to be better than that but i chose awful subjects and i'm failing. If i don't get a 90 uai i'm going to have to repeat at tafe next year. I know if i went to a normal school i wouldn't be at the bottom... and i wouldn't be feeling so stupid!

OMG!

I just rang Board of STudies re: my double notices they sent, and even though two of them (French Ext and German) were the same, the Continuers was different - and they had no idea what I was talking about!!! Hurrah. So now I'm going to Newtown HSPA for speaking... much closer!

Who else is missing parts of open days for these?

Me semble que tout le monde va a` Ravenswood... personne ne va quelque part d'autre?

Oui Chepas, je suis aussi perdre le temps pour les open days. hmmm i don't think that was right. I want to go to sydney uni, but it's on the same day as french and i don't think i'll get out of french until after 12... and the mini lecture i wanted to go to is over by then. Now i'm regretting not going to the open days last year... I guess there's always orientation if i get in... but the whole point in going was to find out about the courses so i know what to apply for...

i swear, the BoS is totally inept. first they faxed our school a month ago and said we were the exams were at our school for all languages. then we got letters saying continuers was at frensham (a school in our area) and extension at oxley. Then a week ago they faxed something through saying they were both at frensham. Then yesterday they faxed another note saying all our times were changing (for the 3rd time) because they decided to send another examiner. ARGH! i think i'll just turn up at 9 and hope for the best!!
