As markers have been marking in these conditions for decades you wouldn't win that appeal.
Yes markers in the past put marks on pages - we used to put a mark on the page to simply indicate that we had read the page but we were told this year - no marks at all. I don't know about Maths as I don't mark it and I don't know if anyone at my school did either.
