Hey guys, I'm going to choose Music 2 for my HSC. (I'm in Year 10) Can someone give me a brief (or not lol) overview of what's required? Like is it compulsory to do aural, composition and performance or can we choose between the three? And I've heard your pieces have to be classical, but does that negate the Romantic, baroque, contemporary etc eras too?

Also I've been looking at this but it's from 2010, so is it still valid?

I didn't do music 2 but I'm pretty sure that in this context, 'classical' means a similar thing to 'art music' (ie 'serious' music) rather than specifically from the Classical period.
