hey just wondering if the course summary notes by the board of studies are reliable or not? What you think?

obviuosly they are. this is actually in the syllabus in assesing the sources and data you use to answer some of the students column.
they are obviuosly reliable because it is a university that has purposely set up a site to help HSC students with their HSC by answering and giving a breif outline of the dot points in the syllabus.

n yeh, be nice to newbies.

well i fink it easier to go thru text books and formulate ur own extended response to questions...i found it rather difficult at times to adopt someone else's view... altho they might contain some nice facts or theory that u may use in ur response...

Lots of people do that combo because we want to gear our HSC towards maths/science

lolz, yea... i LUV my subjects... aprt from, if u r aiming at high uai, u prolly shouldn't do bio... =( it doesn't get scaled as well, comparin to other sciences... or even eco i heard... >.< '

I would have done economics, but after my 33/100 yr 10 commerce assessment mark and my awful teacher i never want to touch that subject ever again. And bio mightn't scale as well, but if you enjoy it you will get a better raw mark than physics or chem (as more dumb ppl are in the course*apologises to whoever i just insulted*) and hence the same scaled mark. And plus it gives you >10 units so it doesn't have to count now does it

Yay for the maths/science people, boo to the people that exploit the system to do all english releated subs
