What do you guys think of 'I Say a Little Prayer' as a vocal piece? Its for the topic 'Film Music.'

To the people who did the first movement of the Moonlight Sonata..can your really get that piece under the 5 min time limit??

Anyway my pieces are
Clair de Lune by Claude Debussy
The Forest Stream by Miriam Hyde
Prelude in C sharp Minor by Segei Rachmaninoff

and either The Rustle of Spring by Christian Sinding or the Friska from the Hungarian Rhapsody No.2 by Franz Liszt..I haven't decided yet. It all depends on whether I can get the Friska up to the standard of the other pieces.
...all on piano obviously

I'm going to do:
Andante con variazioni, by Beethoven. (Just the theme and three variations, not the whole movement!)
Malaguena, by Albeniz
Cruella de Ville, from 101 Dalmations
Maple Leaf Rag, Joplin

All on piano, though Cruella is going to have a little mini jazz ensemble ^_^

I'm a tenor vocalist and a guitarist, but I'm straying away from my guitaring for the HSC.

My pieces are:

The Exodus Song - Pat Boon (Bloody excellent piece, I've arranged a pianist)

Feelin' Good - Michael Buble cover (Possibly with a backing track, possibly with the afore-mentioned pianist)

Betrayed - The Producers (I'm having to use a backing track here, and I've cut the large comedy reminiscing speaking part. A lot of fun)

Everytime You Cry - John Farnham (My brother will be guitaring and singing backing vocals for me.. Oddly enough, his name is Chris Isaac. Irony, you bitch.)

Here's hoping I pull them all off...

for jazz i have been working in a group doing Eva cassidy's Wayfaring stranger. but i hate my part in it. does anyone have a suggestion for a jazz piece i could do guitar and possibly vocals in?

my pieces are:

The Beatles - Let It Be (A reggae version i came up with)
Jimi Hendrix - Purple Haze
Dire Straits - Sultans of Swing
Gervais Koffi - Sokouya (He's my guitar teacher, and it's one of his compositions)

i wanted to play other songs, but i prefer using backing tracks, and these songs were the only ones i was bothered making backing tracks for. I'd prefer live accompaniment, but everyone in my class plays different styles, none of them seem to like mine haha.

im in yr 11 doing the music 1 course. im currently trying to choose my piano pieces for next year.

im want to do all performances...so far, ive decided on playing
- Bach prelude and fugue no. 12 WTC2
- Chopin nocturne in e minor
- Beethoven sonata in F minor op.2 no.1 allegro

could you please suggest me a piece for my fourth piece. i hope to find a piece that contrasts with my other pieces, perhaps a jazzy one?
also, any comments about my current program?

Thanks. :)
