hey, does biomed really require HSC physics? Frankly, I didn't choose physics because I'm not confident in the course and will possibly lower my atar. And are there any other engineering course that don't really need hsc physics (apparently people say you don't really need hsc physics for engineering?) I know this is a little early but that's my goal.

All engineering courses require you to do first year physics at least. It's very different from HSC physics and more similar to 4U as said above ^

HSC Physics content is moreso only helpful if you end up doing PHYS12X1, which mainly is only completed by students in Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering and Physics programs.
