HSC SCALING. Anyone know what happens if you only have 3 ppl in class? (1 Viewer)

Does scaling still influence your score if you only have a class of 3 people???
e.g. would you get scaled down if the person coming last was achieving in the 60's where as the student coming first achieved 90

Scaling will still affect you if you were the only one in the class. It is based on your scores only and is independent of other people in your class.

Ranking-wise, just do well and you should be fine!
In a small class with such a wide spread of marks it shouldnt affect you at all

If you're first, you will always have no effect upon scaling from your cohort. The person coming second might get affected depending on where they stand between.

Well u guys should all try and help each other coz if ur marks are really close then together u'll all scale well.

Three people in my chemistry class too, it's a good size.

If you all do well then you all do well but if say the person that's first gets 95 exam mark and the last person gets 75 exam mark then then the middle person's assessment mark is severely affected.
