If im aiming for a >99 atar is it better to choose legal studies or physics if im doing: 2 unit bio, 2 unit maths, 2 unit english, 2 unit chem?

You can get 99.95 with any subjects. Ignore the fact that physics scales higher than legal. It don't matter.

Just work hard and smart on your subjects. Then you will get > 99 ATAR.

Choose the one you are best at and like the most.

There is no such thing as a 'better' subject in the HSC.. Just have passion and love for the subject and i can gurantee you will perform at a top level.
