Hey,
I have been a member for ahile but this is my first post! How exciting!! Anyway, I was wondering if anyone would be able to help me??
Outline the types of international rights and the treaties/conventions in which they are codified.

I know it's probably very easy but we haven't studied human rights yet . . . yes we are rather behind!

Any help would be awesome!! :)

it is very easy to find, either on the UN website or in your text books.

You might want to include the historyof such rights, inlcuding the US Bill of Rights, English Bill of Rights, etc.. I would also refer to their effectiveness via the means of natural law versing State Sovereignty - and refer to a current case by where our Government has reverted to its constitutional powers rather than UN treaties.

lol well the most obvious one is the United Nations Universal Declaration of Human Rights 1948

then there is a whole heap of geneva conventions

go to the UN site - they would have heaps
