true, but then again he was the alpha male, hes meant to be physically abusive towards the other males. i pictured the captured female infected as his partner.
i thought this too.

Not boring...but a bit disappointing..
agreed - there are much better "world ending/survival" movies than this one.

Could have been better, but still this movie lived up to my expectations. Twas awesome.

Tears came to my eyes when they played redemption song at the end

Sadly it's classified as horror. Why is everyone hating on this movie :(

EDIT: But anyone with sense that's seen it would know better.

lots of plotholes and shitty CGI, but the 'last man on earth' scenario is so innately compelling that it's hard to fuck up. the direction was really effective too, smith's performance unshowy and empathetic, and i'm glad the film wasn't paced to please ADD fuckwits... it was easy to project myself into the film's setting and space, which is the mark of an effective piece of work.

maybe not the masterpiece it could've been, but a nice appetiser until the adaptation of cormac mccarthy's the road comes out.

...and? i don't disagree that 28 days later is better (didn't like weeks tho), i'm just suggesting that part of what made i am legend good was that it has a fail-safe premise. my expectations were low 'cos everyone had been telling me how shit it was, so i was pleasantly surprised.

for what it's worth, the best post-apocalyptic survival film i've seen is late august at the hotel ozone.

i dunno i just found 'legend' far to over-rated for what it really was. And it wasn't even tapping into a new idea. I was dissapointed.

A total disappointment. I never enjoy movies like that but that was a complete and utter disappointment. Boring and completely not worth the time.
