Can i please have advice on what subjects to drop?
I'm in yr 11, turning yr 12 soon and I have a choice to drop out of 3 choices.

Ancient History
Japanese
Physics
.

I enjoy all 3 subjects but I think I will not be able to handle the workload in Year 12

I am proficient at all 3 subjects, but I would like to drop one.

I would like to know the scaling on each of these subjects, particularly Japanese and Physics.

Also which out of these 3 subjects would scale the best?

Assuming that you're proficient at Japanese (perhaps background?) we rule out Japanese and take a look at both History and Physics.
Depending on the rest of your subjects, you might have a general assumption which group you belong to. Either pure science or social sciences.
If you're into science (bio and chem) then the logical move is to drop history.
If you're into social sciences (legal, business etc) then drop physics.

This would synchornise all your subjects into a collective movement. However, this all depends on your interests, and not performance.

In terms of scalling, why worry about it? You're goal is to achieve 100%, and if your passion is align with your subject choice, then the only thing that is standing in your way is your work ethics.

Japanese and Physics scale quite similar, aligning is pretty meh for Physics, good for Japanese. Ancient History is a bit on the lower side, so if all else equal then you can drop history maybe? It's interesting to note you enjoy all three since they're all quite different from each other, I recommend looking at the HSC syllabus and past exams and seeing which 2/3 would appeal to you most when you study - something to note I've only assumed you have been doing Japanese continuers so far, if you're doing beginners then the scaling is pretty bad but the addition of learning another language has its benefits outside of study.

For the HSC I did both without any trouble-Biology and Senior Science v Legal and Business

Keep the subject you do best at? I mean, its only been like a month of Year 11.

What are you're other subjects, also its been 4 weeks, maybe give it a bit more time to see which subjects you enjoy more. Which one you drop is up to you, you have to choose the subjects which you enjoy studying for, not the one which scales best/worst.

Physics has the best scaling out of the three if you perform well.
Ancient History will have quite a heavy workload because it's essentially another 2 units of English (essays, extended responses, etc) except it's about history. But if you love Ancient (like me), I suggest keeping it because it's seriously interesting.

Relavant-ish: I know for a fact that Ancient History scales significantly lower than Modern History because you can make up a lot of information on the spot in your essays and most of it can't be proven wrong, since it's Ancient history.

And yea, you're only in year 11 lol chillax, give yourself some time to truly experience the subjects, then make your decision during term 3.
