I got fired from HOYTS for stealing a choc top (it was in the damaged stock freezer and i took it after my shift, i left the packet there for stocktake so they wouldn't be out, but i still got fired) and i had to sign a termination letter and everything like that but i've had a job at coles (didn't do anything shifty, plus they don't have choc tops ) and a job at a hospital where they DO criminal record checks before you can work there and everything was fine

i gave out more cash out than required to a friend....got caught by the camera...

IF coles charged you with theft, you would know this when the police came to you asking to speak about a theft you comitted lol its not hard to work out you tard

there will be no record of the theft except within the coles company (including officeworks and stuff i am pretty sure)

just dont use coles as a reference lol

shit m8 that was a stupid thing to do. you'd be so fucking lucky if they don't charge you usually all employers do with money related stuff

maybe they wont because you owned up to it etc but count yourself very lucky. where i used to work a guy there stole at least $100 a week and it was only when he got caught on camera my boss went to the police and he was charged...

i had a fucking $90 variance on saturday (out of 10,000), and I am absolutely sure it was cos of the dumb cunt fob guy who counted my 50s when they collect them halfway through the shift. I saw him counting and he was fucking sped at it, and I warned him that some of them were wet cos someone spilt beer on my till.

So annoying I had to fill out a report and what not. It's bullshit though, they should let us count it ourselves.

Yep, I often find that when I count my draw at the end of the shift the amount I come up with is higher then what the manager does. A bit suspicious considering I use the money counting machine and they don't.
