Lol he's not an interesting zoo animal. :p
LOL O-M-G are you sure about that? I will be one of his stalker fans!

It's not that he's a celebrity, it's that you lost hours of your childhood watching your childhood sporting legend and now he's coming to your uni!

lol asy I read your stalking post after I wrote this reply (I couldn't wait until I got to the end of the thread to write the reply). Who has the timetable for PSY105?? :p

 Which joke? The stalking joke? These people don't know the first thing about the Mq stalker society. I mean no one shared my enthusiasm about Thorpie being at our uni!!! I got an 'oh' instead of a 'zomg!!!'

I just hope he doesn't see this thread - he may think we are actually serious
That's the whole point, Jamie... It's stupid.

Oh, like, wow?

These people don't know the first thing about the Mq stalker society.
I think there's a difference between people who are socially inept and people who are genuine stalkers, to be honest.

Isn't anyone wondering why he's even bothering with a degree?

And I also wonder what clubs and societies he'll join too =P

Yeah because degrees are only for people who want to make money! Amirite or amirite, people?!

I think its a great opportunity to start now. It would still be worth him starting a new career/pathway - he is still young afterall. Even though he has retired from swimming he would probably want to be doing something for the next 30 years...

I agree - although I don't think it's age specific. I'm of the opinion that if you enjoy and see a future in something else, go for it.

Hmm, well, if you put it that way, i guess i can respect his decision to study rather than party hard for the rest of his life.

EDIT: That came across as a bit cynical... i really do respect his decision to study though. And he's a nice person too.

Oh snap!

Yeah I think good on him. He didn't have the opportunity before, why not do it now that he has the opportunity.
