iBook doesn't recognise my phone (1 Viewer)

I attached my Motorola phone (don't know what type) to my iBook through my USB but it doesn't recognise it. The CD that came with my phone doesn't seem to be able to be installed on my iBook. I don't want to install the CD on my iBook I just want the phone to be recognised.

Try isync....what not use blue tooth??

motorola have pretty screwed software. you won't be able to properly interface with the phone using bluetooth, purely because the protocols motorola use are not normal. i have a macbook and a L7 slvr and i get very limited connectivity.
