I don't want to do this right now. Do you get in trouble if you DNF (discontinue not fail) all your subjects?

No. The subjects will still count towards your HECS debt but there is no academic penalty.

Depending on your faculty, you *might* be identified as a struggling student, so if you do decide to return next semester or next year, they might encourage you to speak with an academic advisor for additional support.

If you can convince them you dropped the units because of a mental illness or family difficulty you may not have to pay for them. Play the victim card, they will eat dat shiz up.
