Are they the unweighted hsc mark? the aligned mark? And is it the median or mean, or something else? Because I'm smack bang in the centre of the grade for a subject and I don't know what mark range I would be looking at
Maybe malcolm21 means "in the centre" as in rank-wise.Wouldn't it be average report mark for your school in that semester/school year? Sometimes they're aligned, sometimes not it depends on the faculty (well in my school anyway).
How do you know you're smack bang in the centre if you don't know the range?
Im the middle in ranking, also the report gives the average for the rest of the state too so I'm assuming it's not the internal markWouldn't it be average report mark for your school in that semester/school year? Are you sure? It says on http://www.schools.nsw.edu.au/learning/emsad/asr/index.php that every school has to report their students' marks so I don't think they're allowed to pick the mark whether it be mean, median which is the highest to put up.Your school report is unique to your school. Whatever mark is shown is up to your school.
nah not my school half yearly report with the a's and the b's but these annual school reports like these fam : http://www.liverpoolb-h.schools.nsw.edu.au/our-school/annual-school-reportThey mean nothing. It's just a piece of paper your school gives you, unique to your school. My school doesn't even give assessment marks in reports.
They are just used to calculate your rank within your class.
I'm guessing the marks shown in the column graphs of that Liverpool Boys High School annual report are final HSC mark (average of moderated internal mark and external mark).nah not my school half yearly report with the a's and the b's but these annual school reports like these fam : http://www.liverpoolb-h.schools.nsw.edu.au/our-school/annual-school-report
Oh jeez haha sorry! My school usually uses box and whisker plot so I got confusedMaybe malcolm21 means "in the centre" as in rank-wise.
