This would be my personal target depending on if I were at a school that is:
School Rank lower than 500 - Top in all subjects
School Rank 500 or better - Top 5% in all subjects
School Rank 400 or better - Top 10% in all subjects
School Rank 300 or better - Top 15% in all subjects
School Rank 200 or better - Top 20% in most subjects
School Rank 100 or better - Top 25% in most subjects
School Rank 75 or better - Top 25% in some subjects but atleast top 50% in all subjects
School Rank 50 or better - Top 30% in some subjects but atleast top 50% in all subjects
School Rank 25 or better - Top 50% in all subjects or Top 40% in some but atleast top 60% in all subjects
School Rank 10 or better - Top two thirds in all subjects or Top 50% in some and atleast top 75% in all subjects.

Wait, wait. So some are telling me I should just aim high, which I really want to do.

And then I see that school ranks do seem to matter. I don't know exactly my school rank, however we have had successful students recieving great atars, and I attend a public school. So I think I will just stick to aiming REALLY high.

Also, I get really worried that I may study however what if i don't do that well in my exams anyway? Anyone else have that feeling?

Also is it a good idea to begin notes now? I am thinking of doing it to be up to date.

I'm only in the top 25% for like three subjects. :'(

Personally in a top 200 school to get 95+ I'm aiming to be top 3 in all my subjects. Just to be safe.

Good idea is to try and top every single subject if your school is ranked in 500s or lower. If you can do this you don't have to worry about the rest of your cohort.

This girl in my year is 1st in 5/6 of her subjects and she is 2nd in her 6th subject! :O btw my school is ranked 466 but i still think shes gonna get 90+ ATAR. Im ranked 1st in 1 of my subjects, 2nd in 3 of my other subjects and 4th in my other subject... what ATAR do u think i will get?
