When asked to assess the validity of the research we were asked to bring into an in-class assessment task, what should i talk about? What factors improve validity of research obtained?

Please do not say use many types of sources, compare to other students, or use up to date sources. those are ways to improve reliability.

Thanks in advance

I think you may be getting reliability and validity mixed up when referring to research dot points.

To ensure that information is valid or accurate you would have to compare different sources to ascertain any discrepencies in the information. To ensure that the information is reliable you check the qualifications/credentials of the author whose book/journal you are getting info to ascertain their level of expertise, or check whether a website is updated.

id probably suggest the level of detail in the info, couple this with reliability (because youre comparing resources, its not really an experiement so you dont have a control or variables)
