Independent Trials can be done at any time up to the end of Week 6 - when the security period ends.

e.g. some of the subjects at my school have already used independent trial papers while most will use CSSA. Then in Week 7 those who didn't use Independent Trials will issue those to the students as another practice paper but if you used independent for the trial you will give out CSSA when the kids return in Week 5.

Ahh ok, thanks. So info about the independent trials (heard they were trickier) will be available after week 6? Not too long at all - time flies when sitting the hsc..
