Only way to get a number >1 was if you had products over reactants I think...

Yeahp, just calculated. 1/0.18 = 5.55555
You guys do it the wrong way around?

nah pretty sure it was 5 something...cant remember the exact values but did u do the whole (initial value - 2x) etc etc to take into account the value once it had reached equilibrium
my bad if this doesnt make sense its hard to remember without the q sheet

I forgot how to draw glycerol, along with maybe 2-3 marks for some of the saponification shit.

Pumped the last question though.

Maybe 20/25? Pretty good for me.

Haha unlucky. C3H5(OH)3.....It's like an E shape :)

Errr lol. Looks like you messed up the 0.30, it should be 0.05.

I know what you did wrong, you were meant to SUBTRACT 0.30 from 0.35.

Here's the table: ..... NOTE: In brackets means subscript
................2ICl(3) >> I(2) + 3CL(2)
Initially.....0.35__>>__0____0
@ Equil.....-0.3__>>_+0.15_+0.45
.:. ............0.05__>>_0.15__0.45

Then sub those into K equation

It is [0.453]^3[0.15] / [0.05]^2 = 5.4675
You made a typo. It's 0.45^3, not 0.453^3 :p

I got 5.something for the constant. I quite liked the questions. The 7-marker was a repeat of past years though, was the same as my trial as well.
