Has anyone done INFS1602 recently? I'm tossing between INFS1602 and MARK1012, but I heard MARK1012 is similar to MGMT1001.

I don't do MARK1012 but I'm doing INFS1602 These are what I think about the course. Maybe they could help you out:
Ease: 8/10- I don't really bother about this course, but its assignment is what really make my worry :/. 65% got HD every year I think.
Content: 7/10- Really interesting subject if you want to know how the internet is functioning and helping/killing the businesses. It's useful if you're doing major in Information Systems next year.
Lecturer: 1/10 Eric- NO! Stay far away from his lectures. Only attend if there's guest lecture. Lecture stuff and textbooks are not that relevant. You can get HD by using the textbook and not going to lectures.
Tutor: 8/10- My tutor explains stuff very well. She's very engaging and funny. What makes the tutorial boring is the preparation for the workshop every week is just repetitive and the exercises that Eric assigns for the tutors are just boring.
Overall: 6.8/10- The online quizzes are easy 15% of your mark. Easy 5% if you attend tutorials and do your HW every week. Assignments are all about research and writing. It's a WAM booster for the majority of students.

With 1602 i find you will get capped as it is hard to get a decent D in assignments. Most people hover around high 60s/low 70s.
