Hey,

So im trying my hand at integration for the first time, and I think it is going quite well.

However my essay starts with a paragraph about the stimulus booklet text, and ive been told that you should always start with the core text, even if you are integrating it. Is this true? It makes sense, as it should be the main focus of the essay, but mine flows a lot better if I start with the stimulus text.

In my opinion, it shouldnt matter as long as the essay flows, but i am not the marker so what i think doesnt matter lol.

What are your thoughts on this?

Thanks :)

my english teachers have said that its best to start with the core text and then compare/contrast techniques and themes in the other texts.

good luck!

that would be the typical approach, though if you find that it flows better with what you have now, i wouldn't change it

whatever works best, there's no set guideline
