回复: Integration and probability

thanks

can u please help me with this question

1. integration of sin^2x.cos^2x dx

2. simplify sin4xcos4x, sinxcosxcos2x, 2sin2xcos2x

3. In how many ways can 5 men and 5 women be arranged in a circles so that the men are separated? In how many was can this be done if two particular women must not be next to a particular man?
( I can do the 1st part of this question but can't do the 2nd part)

4. P,A, B, and C are four points in a plance such that the angles BPA and CPA are obtuse and on opposite sides of PA. PA = 8cm, BP =10cm, PC = 12cm, AB = 14cm and AC = 18cm. Calculate the length of BC and the area of the triable ABC.

5. find the general solution of

sinx+cosx= 1

2.
sin4xcos4x= 1/2(sin8x)

2sin2xcos2x=sin4x

lol i'll do the rest later if no one else has

Re: 回复: Integration and probability

1. (sinx)^2 = (1/2)(1-cos2x)
AND (cosx)^2 = (1/2)(1+cos2x)

then just expand and integrate normally xD

Re: 回复: Integration and probability

o_O much better than my solution

......however shudnt it be a 1/4 out the front rather than a 1/2 ???
Actually, there should be a 1/8 infront of the sin4x

EDIT... Wait yes. That's what sucks about sin squared with double angles.
