Hey guys just got my first semester reports and I placed 21/31 in one of my classes with an assessment mark worth 30%. will this severely impact my Atar?

I have been first consistently for this class in year 11, this was the first exam of year 12 and I was just very unprepared, if I get high marks for the next assessments will it be okay?

This really depends on the quality of your cohort. If you're in James Ruse? Probably not. Just work hard to do better in your following assessments and you'll be fine

worry about what you can still control, just focus on putting in your best effort for the remaining tasks (and hopefully placing well). That is all you can do. I'm not too sure on the impact on your ATAR but it will be dependent on if it is apart of the 10 units being counted, how you end up ranking and performing in HSC.
