Who are you with?

I'm with St George DragonDirect
that's 5.00%, same with ING Direct I think.

CitiBank is at 5.25%

some other bank is at 5.05%

and I use my CommBank for normal transfers.

Internet banking rocks. So much better than telephone.

My spending account is with Westpac, and my savings are with ING. I use westpac over the other banks because they have good service and reliable staff [cough]St George[/cough]

Anyway ING is best because no fees. :D

Yeah, but "good service" is only there for when you NEED it. Do you really NEED someone to stand there and stamp your cheques?

lol, yes!!
nah, not really, but...i dunno...i guess im just old fashioned in that way.
dont get me wrong, i use ATM's and EFTPOS all the time, but i figure if we have to pay all these fees, i may as well spend an extra few dollars a year and make them work for it (even though someone would be doing all the stuff on the other end anyway..)

CommBank - Everything - Visa, Transaction Account, Term Deposit, Awardsaver.

My term deposit i got at Com Bank last week was around 5.45 % - which is good. I use to have DragonDirect but put it in ComBank as St george SUCK!!!

I have Student Options or something at ComBank which means everything is free , although for 5 bucks a month for 15 electronic transactions that is pretty cheap anyway/

Lexi how did you register an ING fund account?

I am really interested in setting one of these up because I need to start investing...

I went to the ING website, they said something about seeing your finanicial instution to set up an account...

Whether this means my bank (commenwealth) or a financial advisor I am not sure...

Anyone that has ING please help me :)

yeah i just researched, and yeah - its free to set up an ING account
but you need to tranfers money from your exisiting bank account to the ING account - this can only be done online..

im confused bout how the interests thing works - but yeah everyone keeps saying ING has the best interest rate.. so yeah :)

does anyone know if other people can desposit money into the ING account? or just it have to be from OUR account?
