It wasn't course specific, it was talking about the general trend across all PBL courses. A lot of doctors were saying that back in their day they all learned anatomy, physiology and biochemistry at uni and had to pick up the patient handling in clinical. Now "the pendulum has swung the other way"* and the students don't know enough science when they get to clinical.
The doctors were saying how the students still pick that stuff up, it just makes it a lot harder for them in clinical since they're studying extra stuff that should have been in the coursework while trying to stay afloat in a hospital.
