Do you know the book seires by Scott Westerfeild?
the books include: Uglies, Specials, Pretties and Extras.
they are good and they can be related to billy elliot because the the characters are both going throgh change and are having though times with the change. My teacher says Specials is the best book to use.
bend it like beckham, harry potter and narnia books are also good.

The movie "looking for Alibrandi" is a good choice for "into the world"
do not use this, it will not impress the examiners and not sure if u can since its on the hsc list !!!
