Intra-plate earthquakes don't occur along the edges of the plate... they are towards the centre... and are confined to the crust. Most earthquakes in aust. are intra-plate quakes (eg. Newcastle- 1989)
hmmm yeh... not so hard
The 1989 Newcastle is an example of an intra plate earthquake. it's heaps important that you have a case study earthquake for the exam. you were suppose to know that for an assessment task. it's REALLY REALLY IMPORTANT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
