iOS and iPadOS 17.6.1 build 21G101 update (1 Viewer)

Apple re-released iOS and iPadOS 17.6.1 today with a higher build number 21G101 than the one released 12 days ago with build 21G93

However many who attempt to get the update via over-the-air can’t do it that way

If you plug it into a computer however it can be updated that way either through finder with a mac or itunes on windows.

Many are saying it should have had version number 17.6.2 instead so that it could be more easily installed over-the-air, but that is not what happened.

Well officially it says “This update includes important bug fixes and addresses an issue that prevents enabling or disabling Advanced Data Protection.”

but when you do the update it also says “This update fixes an issue that may prevent access to Apple Fitness+”

There is also a conspiracy theory that it closes a loophole allowing sideloading fortnite outside the eu

I think it should have been version 17.6.2.

Not many people are going to get this update if they have to plug into computer to get it

Had they made it version 17.6.2 instead many more people would have installed it.
