i dont think so. the only apple stores i know of are chatswood, hornsby(my local store), george street.

There is also a big one in bondi and broadway. Also their is a student discount which is very good.

I have been trying Windows 8 for the past two days (on a computer). It is shit (compared to Windows 7 or Xp).

Microsoft has made Windows 8 to be the same version on both tablets and pc's. When using a pc I don't want to have to navigate it like I would on an Ipad (or Microsofts new equivalent). If you had a touch screen computer it wouldn't be so bad, although for normal pc's/laptops it is a pain.

It will be exactly like Vista all over again where people on pcs/laptops won't update to it and will want to downgrade to Windows 7 if they buy a new computer with Windows 8 installed.

Who knows, it may succeed on tablets though.

IMO education/corporate discounts aren't worth it unless there is absolutely no other discounts elsewhere- typically on computers (iMac/Macbook) DSE does 10% off or better once a month or so and Apple/JB will match it or better it; and iPads are typically cheapest at Big W when they go on sale.

Yup definitely agree with the above. Big W are currently selling the iPad 3 for 498. Got my MBA around the time DSE were running their specials. The education discount is only really useful if you can't wait for the specials to run again IMO (i.e. you need a new computer ASAP).

You can't really download anything on an iPad or at least I haven't found a way

there's an app on the cydia store called mew seek, all the songs you want for free, gr8 on my iphone

don't know if they have it on an ipad though
