Not an iPod fan to be honest...

And you can't really call it an invention
It's more like... combining two technologies.

Kramer invented the ipod.

Apple made it the top brand.

Yeah but what defins 'invention'
I mean, when I think of invention I think ORIGINAL TECHNOLOGY.
iPod was basically (and I'm not saying it was any less ingenious) getting a mini hardrive and sticking it into a portable player.
Which sort of detracts from it being an invention...

They are pretty though

But overrated and far too expensive. (especially if you're pov like me )

That's sorta why I don't consider the iPod an invention.

The MP3/portable media player is.
The CD player is.
The cassette player is.
The transistor radio is.
The fucking iPod is an exalted piece of crap that costs too much, and is rather overrated, indeed.

yeah, me too. 'cept i'm also saving up for heaps of other things, and i'll tell ya, camouflage gear is WAY CHEAPER!!!! lol (and it's actually for the ADF, too, i'm needing practice at exercising in camo to get WAY FIT for my RAAF fitness exam lol XD)

The marketing for it is hella smart though I mean really... using white headphones so EVERYONE knows who is using an iPod. Genius.

In 2005, New York's Metropolitan Transportation Authority placed advertisements on the subways warning passengers that "Earphones are a giveaway. Protect your device", after iPod thefts on the subway rose from zero in 2004 to 50 in the first three months of 2005.

my friend was going to perform euthanasia on me... but then realised it was illegal, and that if i she killed me, then i couldn't return the favour. suicide was not an option.
