IPT or Business Services (1 Viewer)

heyy im thinking of changing from IPT to Business Services

Im currently doing 12 units in the prem yr
Current subjects: business studies, retail operations, eng std, mathematics, accounting and IPT

so what do you think is more useful in the future, easier and a better subject to score good marks and decent UAI

What are your interests? As someone who's done IPT, I have to say it's quite an interesting course.

Also, big factor for you is that both Accounting and BusServ are Category Bs, so at most only one of them will count for the UAI.

is IPT similar to IST in yr9-10?
do we learn more into depth of IST or do we learn some new topics and stuff?
whats a similar subject to IST in yr9-10?

can anyone gimme some info about IPT and business services ?

What you will do in IPT is mostly learn about how systems work in specific environments, as well as the basics of global communications. You will learn some coding languages such as SQL which will be necessary for the HSC exam.
But mostly you will be analysing databases or systems and saying how they work, as well as comparing them to similar systems.

p.s if you're going to do this as an accelerated course for yr 9/10, I'd advise against it unless you want to do a distinction course in yr 11

i recon IPT is the continuation of IST (yr9-10). i find it pretty interesting so far and i hope it stays that way or becomes more interesting.
