IPT is sooooooooooo gay but yeah I came first so its all good.

wish i could come first on 65% lols but all these people from sdd dropped to our ipt class at the start of this year like 3 of them and they get 90s easy

I did the CSSA trials too. I reckon it was alrite. Wish i had done better, my teacher was expecting mid 80's from me. Well this is what i got:

Section I:
Q 1-20: 13/20

Section II
Q21: 9/10
Q22: 6/10
Q23: 9/10
Q24: 9/10

Section III
Q25: 15/20 (TPS)
Q28: 13/20 (Multimedia)

I got 74% and i came 2nd. The one who came 1st got 91%. Dats a huge gap.

91%!!! shiza. i got 75.5% 1st, the next person got 65%.

I got 80% for CSSA trial. Screwed up my DSS question got 12/20. Meh.

I got my mark and rank today but didnt get my paper back bcoz we had assembly.
Ours was independant with a few questions removed and others added as we havent done DSS yet.

I got 87% and was 1/7. I was a bit dissapointed because my teacher told me the highest in multiple choice was 13/20 *which is prettybad* which means I could have done better...but at least now I know what I have to revise

man i am soo angry i got back the multiple choice today and i got friking 11/20 such a discrase

but every one did shit in it, highest was 13/20 from a ex sdd kid so i think i did ok...

my teacher is soo stupid he put all this non corse work shit in the multiple choice like advanced SQL coding questions like 4 of the bitches

what can you expect from a 1st year out teacher

we now i just have to wait for the other 80 marks i think i did ok in them

why are ex-sdd students different?

There is basically no cross over of the 2 courses whatsoever.
The only thing that immediately comes to mind is methods of implementation and thats a very small part of both courses.

not posting son's IPT results he did ok - but can do better
BUT
his school did CSSA Maths - average for year for 2U Maths was 35%
yes thats smoke coming out of my ears
having a burning desire to phone up and say WTF is going on

Thats like my school, the highest was 59%, I myself got 31% and that was in the mid-range.

I think its because our teacher marks pretty harsh, and if you dont get the final answer right, you get no marks for that answer whatsoever, whereas in the HSC you would still get marks for the process (if it was correct) and not get a big fat zilch.

Not to mention that our teacher uses the hardest questions possible in the exam, even the smartest kid in out school (usually gets 100% in 2U and 90's in 3U and 70's on 4U) only got in the high 80's.

i got 61% which was the top... (omg yes i beat the guy from sdd who always beats me in exams).......pretty shocking that the top was 61%... average was waaaay below 50%
