umm u can ask what their average spending each week is..
and whether it is enough to meet their needs..
ask what, if any, forms of income they are receiving..
what the most costly goods or services they spend their money on weekly/monthly...
ummm i cant think of anything else..
my teacher told our class today that she's almost finished marking them..
im scared to get my marks back ! :uhoh:
hope i helped a bit..

yeah i know i should have started ages ago but yeah i def have to work heaps hard

umm no it didnt have to be on youth
it just had to comply with the topics we've covered (e.g. resource management, indivduals and groups etc)

mine was on whether the education system today is efficiently preparing young adults for the workforce..
but we didnt study groups in context at all before we started..
we're doin that next..

umm i cant think of any specific questions atm..
mayb ask if they're working at all, or at what age they retired..
n if not, if they've considered doin light part-time work for some extra cash..
umm ask whether they think too much funding is going into other projects n if u want give some examples they can circle, like public schools, traffic and roads, healthcare, etc...
if u dont think its too invasive, ask if they live alone, with family/partner or in a retirement village..
n if they have a carer at all..
i made mine look longer by throwing in some hypothetical questions..
"would you ...... if ..... ?"
ask if they have received any superannuation funding in their working life..

make sure u include like the history of govt payments for the elderly..
n what the govt is actually spending their money on instead of the oldies..

if there's anything else i can help u with let me know n we can talk on msn or something ok ?

As most pensioners feel they dont receive enough from the government you have to watch out for being biased.
Try asking if they have any super annuation.
Or life savings, which they use to help them.
Also as to get the pension you msut have limited assets etc, it might be a good idea to ask if they own a house or anything, which would impact on how much money they can recieve.
Do they live with relatives? If so are they getting 'carers funds'?
You chose a pretty extensive topic to do in 2 weeks :p

You might also want to think about the fact that pensioners are generally the baby boomers, and there is not enough 'younger' people to generate enough tax to pay them alot. Too many oldies and not enough of us to give them lots of money on the pension.

I hope this helps a little bit, i'd have tried to add more ideas but im in a bit of a rush :)
