Remember that if you do MX2 that MX1 counts for two units as well, so it's a big ATAR boost from that alone.

Don't forget that doing ext2 makes ext1 count as 2 units. Plus, you can always drop from ext2 to ext1 halfway through the year if you need to, whereas you can't do the opposite.
